Transistor Amplifier
Wire a common emitter configuration transistor amplifier. A small signal is generated by using a loud speaker an a microphone. This signal is amplified by the transistor circuit. The base current is changed to see the effect on the output waveform at different operating points. The base current is decided by a voltage applied at the other end of a 200kOhm resistor connected to the base. For 2 volts applied ta the 200k resistor, the operating point is aroung 2.5 volts and saturation occurs for one half of the signal when it is 4 volts.
